My husband and I have been home-schooling our 6 year-old twin girls since they were in pre-school. They are reading now and in kindergarten! I was home-schooled from 1st to 6th grade and have good memories of it; my brother and I had some good times with other home-schooled kids in the church we went to.

Homeschooling is the way to go. I am a homeschool Mom with a 15 year old daughter and we love it. Love to talk with other homeschool Moms. Hope you all have a great day. RIC

Glad to hear that there are some teens who like the homeschool thing.  I just started that road with my child last year.  It was a fun year, but it is nice to have your positive thoughts.

well, I say don't be scared of public school, it DOES have to be taken in stride, but if you end up going, just relax and forgive people. believe me, it's not as bad as it seems, I had to go in highschool and it turned out amazing! anyways, groups with homeschooling are awsome. I've been going through pictures for my sisters weddingand found a whole 2 boxes on just our homeschooling days. We did a science co-op, a drama co-op, a PE co-op, an art co-op, not to mention the 'weeks' my mom and the others put on. We studied the civil war (we got to dress up and everything), pioneers, WWII, Dinosaurs, birds, horses, and more! It's even more fun in a group. =D I'm acctually writing a book with my mom of all the different 'Themes days' and stuff we did so other people can use them. RIC

I am homeschooled, too. I love it, actually BBallchick11 and I go to the same Homeschool group. Being homeschooled is awesome. I have been homeschooled almost all my life. We tried public school, but it *sorry* basically sucked. I didn't like it at all, all the kids cussed, were getting high off of stuff, and my math teacher was like the devil. She was like out to get me or something...lol. Hugs from Kayla! RIC

I love homeschooling! besides, things in the public schools where I live make public schooling sound scary. RIC

I just got two kitties! THey showed up @ my nana and papa's house, and they were afraid the cats would get under their feet and trip them up, so they gave them to me!! There is a calico one, whose name is Callie, and a black one, whose name is Ebony. we put them on our screende in porch, and my dog keeps looking through trying to play with them. he luvs cats. they growl at him. Ebony growled at the ceiling fan RIC

Homeschooling. that word is weird. don't know why i said that. i do a dance class at the same church i go to a co-op at.our recital is april 13, i believe. i am so excited. I had a solo one year and i was pretty dang good, if i do say so my self. I watched an old video and we have all changed so much. my friend and i have done it for like five and six years. since we were four and five. wow. we luv it. they do a summer camp in july or june and they have a hiip hop class (originally for boys only) and an interpretiv dance class (like what i take in spring and fal) of course there is age brackets. my friend(who has done it for five years, i for six) has done hip hop for the past threee years i think and i am going to experience it for the first time this year. i regretted it all last year for doing interpretive dance and not hip hop. I LUV MY FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RIC
